Spring has (finally) sprung!

Spring has finally arrived!  And, ThimbleWorld is blooming with color and happiness!

The lighthouse overlooks the lake with a boat tunneling into the water.

An empty bench awaits visitors to the Asian garden with a pagoda (thimble) backdrop. 

The Aviary and bird sanctuary are behind the Asian pagoda.

New this year is an Asian village diorama.  If you look close, there is a man in the small junk.  The thimble here is the building with the waterwheel (which I made). Love the swan.

Welcome, Spring!

March Madness

Spring is usually in the air by now, but, instead, it's still snowing.  Hopefully, by St. Patrick's Day, it will be warming up.  In the meantime, ThimbleWorld still celebrates in the full green of the holiday (and season)!

The second display for March is Pub Mountain! Topped with a rainbow, this mountain setting is full of pubs and bars along with two grand steins to commemorate the holiday.
