2025 Fair Entries Sneak Peek

GET READY FOR A SNEAK PEEK OF MY FAIR ENTRIES!

It's time again for the Skamania County Fair, and this year, I have 2 new displays to enter.

This is titled "Thimble Farm."

There's barns, a chicken coop and chickens, ducks, geese, a dog, a couple cats, pigs.

And a cornfield with a surprise. Can you find Bigfoot?

Oh, and horses and cows. Wait. What's that back there?

Oh, no! A cow is being abducted by a UFO!

This is entry number 2.

Open it up for a barn-full of small animals.

If you can make it to the fair, you can take a closer, in-person look and vote for me!

August Fairs & Festivals

It's that time of year again! Fairs, festivals, fun, and festivities galore! And Thimble World has sooooo many things to do and see. Take a "walk" through my displays and enjoy!

Thimble World Fair.

Rides and food for everyone!

Horses. Loggers. Helicopter ride. Paddlewheel boat ride. Auditorium with musicians. And waaaay in the back is the Beer!

Boat rides while the log rollers compete. Pub in the corner.

I had to redo the ghost this year. Can you find him?

The roller coaster everyone wishes they could ride. Tractor races ready to roar!

Mountain Fair. Bigfoot wanders near the big fair.

Covington Mountain gets into the fun with the Tractors & Trains Festival.

I decided to go with a more "country" look with the houses this year. I think they fit the theme better.

I made a new Bigfoot Burgers stand especially for the mountain. It's located next to the Beer Stand, of course.

The Carnival is in town! Performers abound!

There's even a fortune teller. The wagon behind with the acrobat brings to mind the song "Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves."

Last, but not least, the Bigfoot Festival! Blue ribbon winner from 2023.

After all the celebrating, things calm down, but American colors still fly!

July Jubilation 2025

July is here and Independence Day celebrations are in full swing in ThimbleWorld. In here, there is no fear of errant fireworks or fires. Total enjoyment!

Summer is upon us and Thimble World has many things to see and do. There are many new inclusions and be sure to keep scrolling to see Covington Mountain's new things. So, get ready to visit my thimble sites for lots of thimble fun!

June 24 is National UFO Day. Looks like one already appeared and is dropping off Bigfoot.

How about seeing races?

Covington Mountain has adjoining sites now!

All new houses. New Castle(s). Waterwheel. Lots of new fun stuff this year!

What's that over that castle in the corner? A UFO!

The cabin at the top of the mountain has a visitor!

New diorama this year with castles, a "sea serpent," a UFO over stonehenge. Sheep and goats wander the countryside. I ws trying to capture a UK feel.

Well, I forgot about what I had planned for the mountain and bought a lot of other thimbles, so my "plan" had to go off to the side with some modifications.

My friends went to Hawaii and brought me back so very cute, miniature tikis. Of course, I arranged them for that tropical look and feel. Hawaii, anyone?

There are no flamingos in Hawaii, but I have a couple in my Thimble menagerie.

It's still bright and colorful in here.

I bought a "Blarney Castle" souvenir which is the cardboard castle and one of the ceramic thimble towers. I had another. I decided to put together a little scene with it.
