Turkey day is comin'!

November is here and Thanksgiving is on its way! Even the plates are decorated with turkeys.

I finally put a nice tablecloth out. New lamp (thimble) that I made and a teapot thimble to add to the decor.

Time to display some traditional Thanksgiving designs of Pilgrims and Indians.

The biggest display...

Pilgrims and homestead on one side...

Nature in the middle...
with lots of animals to see...

Indians on the other side.

More decor of traditional feel...

New for this year are the Enesco Bisque Thimbles of Native American children and the Country Cousins Scooter and Katie as Pilgrims. Of course, I added a teepee and country home (thimbles), the owls in a stump (thimble), and the leather thimble cover with a flower. I made the kettle from a black push-nut and the lid is a button.

Finally added lights to the lantern for this cornucopia/scarecrow display. The acorn is a thimble.

A deer (thimble) outside a country home...

A log cabin in the corner...

The homestead pilgrims with mule and cow (all thimbles).

By the front door is the broom and fall harvest (thimble).

Standing watch is the Indian chief next to the totem pole (thimble).

Sadly, Summer is over, but the beautiful colors of Autumn are a welcome addition.

Colorful leaves make a lovely display.

A splash of yellow for a Happy Thanksgiving!
