Jingle All the Way to the End of 2021

Yes, I did put out my Christmas stuff (as I did with Halloween and Thanksgiving). Many have asked about it so, (drum roll, please) here it is--ThimbleWorld 2021. Lights, camera, ACTION!

From one side to the other, ThimbleWorld is in full color!

Cityscape.
Christmas-ville is a little different. I moved Santa out.

The countryside...

Santa's home, aka, the North Pole is on the mountain this year.
Hidden tidbits.

Houses galore and new tree.

This is the commemorative tree I made for Scott. It is a replica Douglas Fir. I found fir cones I had made years ago and put them on it along with blue snowflakes. This tree makes me cry. Douglas fir was his favorite tree and blue was his favorite color.

And this little wrought iron "tree" was also a favorite of Scott's. I thought it was long lost, but I found it while going through things in the garage. When we lived in Stevenson, I would put this out on the table with red and blue Christmas balls (it was what I had). I would buy a package of red and blue tealights (the ones that have fire) and we could only light it once...maybe twice. Since I thought this was gone, I no longer have any of the balls or pretty base covering, so I had to buy them all anew. I added the evergreen to the limbs to make it more like a tree. This makes me cry as well.

The table nook with all the gifts...and the cookies and milk for Santa.

Above the nook tree is my "elf on the shelf." He is playing with a dollhouse by the candlelight.

The bar on the bar was a Scott favorite. Bigfoot is passing through as well as Santa.

Even my kitchen window is alight.

New snowflake tree top--it just didn't make the tree.
I love the lights on the ceiling from the topper.

The new lights around the bar keep it "frosty."

Last year, I bought a box of Whoppers that looked like a building. I made a thimble to match it. This year, I made the box match the thimble.

The kitchen has more to see...the house of thimbles....
You can't get out without more snowflakes...

Tabletop designs...Santa's house and complex.
Snowflakes abound...
Other rooms have Christmas as well...my Star Trek tree is in another room.
A new little display of thimble houses I don't use. Add some snow (glitter) and there's a new scene.

I also have a ceramic house that just doesn't fit anywhere. It's been a thorn to me for years, but I just couldn't get rid of it. The tree with the Santa thimble has normally been beside it and that was fine but it just didn't sit me. Besides, the house is a tealight holder and the entire side, not the back, is open. So I was limited where it could go. Well, I finally did all my ideas to fix things. I closed the side with a "wall" aand loaded the lights from a rear window. Then I surrounded the house with silvery trees that I made from silver-chrome poster board so it was like a forest around the house. I likey!

((NEW))

Even doors and lamps are decorated...

And the main tree... I didn't want the whole tree. I didn't want to move a bunch of furniture. So, I went with the top of the tree. This is the snowflake tree! Under it are cardboard houses. One of them (it's in the back) is from my childhood and older than me.

All the way under the table of the snowflake tree needed some decorating. I had to find another 2 houses and decorate them.

So, that's it for this year.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
