Covington Mountain has a couple new additions. Note the lighthouse on the left. I thought it went well with the houses. But, it didn't earn the top spot...
I had a thimble that didn't fit anywhere in any of my collections, so I thought to make it into something that would--a gun emplacement! I think it works.
I kept playing around with things and I love this train thimble. (The train spins into its "mountain".) So, I've had this rock for a while and it isn't used anywhere, so I covered it in foil and painted it so the train thimble would fit somewhere. I likey. I even made the top of the rock flat for (perhaps) something else in the future.
The flag display underneath is in preparation for the fair this year. The planes won't be on it; in fact, the main display of thimbles will be what is on here. Stay tuned. I will update this post with pics of what will go to the fair.
