Merry (Thimble) Christmas, 2019!

Another year of Thimble World Christmas! It's been 11 years since I started this madness.

Lit up or not, ThimbleWorld is a sight to behold!

The lights give it life at night--just like any city.

The center is Christmas Village with Santa at the North Pole.

The country side is occasionally lit.

The observatory is atop the mountain.

A huge Christmas tree overlooks a ski lodge and homes below.

There are many hidden little surprises.

But ThimbleWorld doesn't have all the thimbles. Santa is the thimble below.

Santa and Mrs. Claus and the elves are all thimbles. Plus more...

More houses...with thimbles hidden everywhere.

The bar on the bar. Santa is set to swing by for some egg nog.

Yup, that's Bigfoot behind that tree.

 A real gingerbread house.

I know it's hard to see, but this is a diorama of Santa taking a Christmas list from aliens.

The special Christmas thimble rack.

Snow!

Christmas mugs adorn this tree. To the side is a ghost of steam coming up from a mug of "Keeping spirits bright."

Even the table has thimbles. Look around the tree bottom.

So many gifts made from thimbles.

Even my elf on a shelf has a thimble (the candle holder).

I have to add a couple pictures of my Star Trek tree.

The tree is loaded with Star Trek Micro Machine ships.

And, of course, I have a regular tree. I really just love all the snowflakes. And, Bigfoot is there...

Merry Christmas to all!

November Celebration of Thanks!

November automatically brings to mind Thanksgiving. ThimbleWorld is full of this celebration!

Warm fall colors cover this display.

The Conestoga wagon races home.

Native Americans and the colonists.

A hut nestled near the mountains.

A scarecrow watches over the crops.

Pilgrim children and Indian children.

The Pilgrim homestead.

The children eye the spilled milk.

A cozy light beams through the window. An axe is left after cutting the firewood. An owl swoops in for a look around.

The pumpkins are harvested.

Many woodland animals peek out from around the tree.

The Indian children warm themselves next to the fire.

More to see...

A lantern lights the cornucopia. The little nut is a thimble.

Indian and Pilgrim children come together for a meal of thanks in the shadow of Mount St. Helens.

Fall leaves hang all around.

A cornucopia of leaves.

The nook has a cabin surrounded by a Pilgrim couple and animals.

An Indian stands watch.

A deer visits a quaint home.

Leaves in the corner are lit up by the candle.

Leaves welcome you at the door.

Autumn flowers can brighten any room.

Hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
