Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Thimbles All the Way!

As 2023 comes to a close, Thimble World celebrates the holidays with a multitude of thimbles!

I decided to light it up differently this year. Instead of several sets of lights, I went with mostly just  large, main trees.

The city side is lit by a tree in the center of town.

The mountain observatory views the planets above.

Behind is a secret farm. Look close. There's another thimble nestled back there. A Santa cruised over the rooftops.

A new building this year. Yup. Thimble World Lodge. It can be any lodge...Winter, Lake, Christmas. Whatever you desire.

The center is still surrounded by lighted trees and the large tree announces the Christmas village around it.

Some sleigh rides available.

The country side is filled with farms and rural homesteads.

The North Pole. Santa reads the list as his sleigh and reindeer ready for the ride on the 24th.

Look closely here. The college on the left has a ship to study that Star Wars fans will recognize.
And there's another town nestled in trees with a Santa soaring over the roofs.

A white Christmas glows with blue lights. Thimbles peek from many places.

The Scott tree--fir with fir cones and blue lights and snowflakes. Blue was his favorite color.

More white. Can you find the thimble?

My snowflake tree.

There's houses and thimble even underneath.

This new tree is taller at the base, so I did something I've always wanted to do. Although I always put a train (it doesn't work) behind the tree on the sill, it's usually only the engine and caboose. Since I can actually see it now, I decided to add a little more. Thanks to the (trains) Dishscape of November, I was inspired to make one car filled with ornaments. Blue with white snowflakes (of course).

There be thimble with these cardboard houses under the tree.

There's even a thimble ON the tree.

There are many little Christmas displays around the room. All have at least one thimble in them.

Let's not forget my darkside. There's even an evil snowman thimble.

The globe holds my Santa taking a list from aliens..

The Star Trek tree graduated to the living room where I can enjoy it more.

Crowning the lampshade. LOL!

Cityscape surrounding a tree silhouettes the suburbian thimble houses.

The North Pole.

The elves play with a couple trains outside the Toy Store.

Santa and Mrs. Claus outside their home.

Mr. & Mrs. Snowman stand together beside the toy factory and warehouse.

The Nook has a Christmas presents extravaganza! Lots of thimbles and even a leg lamp.

Above is my elf on the shelf playing with a dollhouse.

The tree on the table was a longtime favorite of Scott's. Can you spot the thimbles?

The bar is lined with lighted joy!

The Bar on the bar. Santa's headed in for a wee nip.

One of my favorites that I put together. Grandma and her baked pie.

The other side of the bar is full of fun.

The 3 little girls are thimbles.

The library has an angel on its roof with a visitor outside the doors.

Santa outside the (Whoppers) Holiday Town Hall. There is a matching thimble of this in the big Thimble World.

The kitchen window.

No thimbles here, but cute Christmas mugs hang around a very gingerbread woman. A ghostly spirit rises from separate mug.

The special thimble house.

Frosty mug of beer, anyone??

Door decor...

Not a lot of lights, but there's some.

Wait, what's that glow over there?

A leg lamp!!

TO ALL OF YOU, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

STAY TUNED FOR MORE THIMBLE WORLD IN 2024...

New tree to my collection: the space/solar system tree. It's small. The tree is only 18" from base bottom to tree top. Also, the planets and comets glow in the dark. I've always wanted a tree like this. Merry Christmas to me!
