Holiday Delights 2022

So, I think I went a little crazy with all the decorations, but I love my houses and trees and THIMBLES! I went with fewer lights, but ThimbleWorld is still spectacular.

Hidden surprises, as always.

The North Pole.

The observatory is pointed to the planets.

Yes. Star Trek ships are amid those planets.

The living room window is filled with snowy white and colorful buildings. And yes. There are a lot of thimbles mixed in.

The tree I put together with Scott in mind.

My main tree--filled with crocheted thimbles.

A partridge in a thimble in the tree.

Underneath are old-timey houses. And, thimbles...

The church in the back is older than me. My grandmother had this.

All the way under the table are ceramic houses with snowman and tree thimbles.

So many places to put decorations...

The gnome (thimble) is ready for the tree.

Santa and his elf arrive to leave presents.

Lots of Christmas merriness.

Santa (thimble) with a haul of presents for this "woodland" house.

Even the phone stand gets holiday cheer.

North Pole. (Lots of thimbles here)

The nook has presents!

So many presents. Most of these are thimbles.

My elf on the shelf plays with a dollhouse (thimble). The candle is a thimble and the lantern has a thimble in it.

The table tree. Scott always liked this. I thought I had thrown it away, but found it last year and redecorated it the way he liked it.

Kitchen delights.

Christmas thimble display.

The left side of the bar.

Starting from right to left, there's lots to see.

Horror Christmas.

New this year. The woman was smaller than I thought she would be when I ordered her, but she fit well with the fireplace I bought last year. The tree was a napkin holder, but went well in the back. I was going to make an open house for it all but found this house at the local thrift store. A little decorating and it looks great. I'm really lovin' it!

New little tree for the center of the houses.

The bar on the bar. Santa's on his way...

Another newbie this year. Wooden house. It was a bit difficult to find a thimble to go with it. Finally went with the bird thimble on the right. My daughter made that for me years ago. I put a pulpy snowflake paper over it and it worked great. I also made the bucket (thimble) of snowballs, which also looks good.

The Whopper box and a new Library. Some of you may remember its metamorphosis at Halloween.

The library needed a thimble, so I put one together. I made the wreath.

Just below the end of the bar is the Cardinal tree. Cardinals and apples are a bright contrast to the white. Thank you to Carmen for the white tree so I could make this.

Yes, there's thimble of a cardinal in there.

Santa taking the alien's Christmas list...

Odds n Ends.

My bedroom has the Star Trek tree and it's a new tree this year. I like this one much better.

It is decorated with Star Trek ships. Although I could, I didn't add any thimbles to it.

Also in my bedroom is the little thimble village.

Inside door wreath.

I needed to modify my outside lights around the porch since one set of lights doesn't work in the middle.

Well, that concludes my tour. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
